EASA FORUM INSTALLATION5th September 2018
Department of BE First Year inaugurated the Forum EASA-“Engineers Association for Students Activities” on 5th September 2018 in DBACER, Nagpur. It is the forum of BE first Year Students which intends to portrait the inherent skills, talents, creativity of students. Dr. A. P. Kedar, Dean Academics of DBACER was Chief Guest on this occasion. Mrs. M. G. Dhote, First Year Co-ordinator and Ms. P. H. Narnaware, EASA forum Incharge were also present on this occasion. Anchoring was done by Mr. Ritik Thakre & Ms. Shrutika Dongre. Mr. Mrunal Kanojiya President EASA gave the introductory note on EASA and outline about the upcoming activities under EASA. He also introduced with all the EASA members. On this occasion felicitation of topper students of BE First Year 2017-18 batch was done to encourage the 2018-19 first year students for better result. All the Faculty members and students of BE first Year were present on this occasion.
Teachers Day Celebration under EASA Forum5th September 2018
Teachers day was celebrated in the Department of Basic Science & Humanities on 5th September 2018 in Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar college of Engineering & Research under BE First Year Forum EASA. On this auspicious occasion students narrate why teachers day is celebrated. And remember Dr. Sarvapalli Radhakrishnan on his birth anniversary. The teachers were falicitated by offering a sapling. To make this event wonderfull student of EASA Forum presented a skit on teachers Day. Students also showed their respect and gratitude towards the teachers by presenting a song gurur bramha gurur Vishnu…….. All the Faculty members including Mrs. M. G. Dhote First year coordinator and students of BE first Year were present on this occasion. The event was organized by EASA forum members under the guidance of Prof. P. H. Narnaware.
LAPTOP DISTRIBUTIONB.E.FIRST YEAR/ I SEM (2018-19) Date of Induction program: 6th August 2018
As per the tradition, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Engg. & Research, Nagpur organized Laptop distribution ceremony to the toppers On 6th August 2018. Around 300 students and parents were present for the program.

Department of First year of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Engg. & Research, Nagpur organized One Week Induction Program “PARICHAY” for students of B.E. First Year from 6th August to 11th August 2018. Total 180 students were present for the program. In this one week Induction Programme, First department has conducted various activities such as Get Set Go which is personality development module designed for B. E. First year students, Expert lectures on Universal Human Values and Psychological counselling, Yoga Session and one day picnic at Surabuldi Meadows

One day Intercollegiate Model Making/ Poster Presentation Competition organized by Department of Physics(20th January 2018)
Department of Physics, DBACER, Nagpur, organized a One day Intercollegiate Model Making/ Poster Presentation Competition on 20thJanuary 2018.
The function was inaugurated at the hands of Principal Dr.V.H.Tatwawadi, Judge of the event Dr. P. R. Gandhi, (Professor RCOEM, Nagpur). Prof. M.G.Dhote, First year Coordinator, Dr. M. A. Kale, H.O.D. Physics and Convener of the event Dr.S.A. Fartode were present on this occasion. Dr. M. A. Kale, H.O.D. Physics briefed about event and wishing best luck to the participant. Dr. V. H. Tatwawadi emphasized on importance of communication and confidence. Dr. P. R. Gandhi gave valuable guidance on new approaches in nanotechnology and also enlightened the students by his profound skill. Vote of thanks was proposed by Mr.Kuldeep Thakre (Student co-ordinator)
With keen interest, about 32 groups (Two student per group) of B.E.Sem-II from different institute have shown their active participation in the event to make the programme successful. In Model making Competition Mr.Ashish Sharma, Mr.Abhishek Khope, Mr.Nayan Rajurkar (Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi College of Engineering, Nagpur) and Mr. Harshal Lokhande, Mr.Mithilesh Makde (Priyadarshini Indira Gandhi College of Engineering, Nagpur) won first and second prize. In Poster presentation Ms. Runita Bhasgauri, (Priyadarshini Bhagwati College Of Engineering, Nagpur) won the first and Ms. Shivani Gandlewar, Ms. Rohini Gondane (Dr.Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Engineering &Research) won second prize respectively. All teaching and non-teaching faculties of Physics dept worked hard to make the event successful.
The winners were bestowed with certificates and cash prizes. All the participant were motivated to give their best in the future projects.

Mr. Swapnil Turkar President EASA gave the introductory note on EASA and outline about the upcoming activities under EASA. All the Faculty members and students of BE first Year were present on this occasion.
PARENT TEACHER MEET(28th October 2017 )
Department of B.E. first year, Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar college of Engineering & Research organized the first “Parent Teacher Meet” on Saturday 28th October 2017 at 9.00am in CSE Seminar Hall, Killa Building. The main purpose of meet was to create a common platform, where teacher and parents come together to enrich the student’s educational experiences and discuss variety of issues, regarding all round development of students. The meeting was organized under guidance of First Year Co-ordinator, Mrs. M. G. Dhote.

Parent teacher meeting was started with Goddess Saraswati Poojan with the hands of guest parents. Dr. Nitu Gupta, Co-ordinator Parents Teacher Meet welcomes the parents on behalf of First Year Department DBACER. Then Mrs. M. G. Dhote explained how PTM can offer the best possible learning environment for the students. Subsequently student’s attendance, academic performance and other special programmes have been briefed to the parents. The parents were then allowed to meet the teachers for their wards attendance & performance.
Total 61 Parents attended the meeting. Parents were given the feedbacks that each meeting should be seen as another opportunity for parents and teachers to work hand in hand for the benefit of the students.
Parent expressed their satisfaction about the efforts taken by faculty. They appreciate & thanked college authorities for arranging Parent-Teacher meet and providing opportunities to know progress of their ward.
PARICHAY - AN INDUCTION PROGRAMME AND LAPTOP DISTRIBUTION(14th August 2017)
As per the tradition, Department of First year of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Engg. & Research, Nagpur organized an induction program “PARICHAY” followed by Laptop distribution to the toppers On 14th August 2017. Around 250 students and parents were present for the program.
The Program was inaugurated by Hon’ble Shri Dattaji Meghe who graced the occasion with his presence which is special blessings and honor to the institution. The chief guest for Inauguration ceremony was Mr.Arjun Meghe, Trustee, SVSS who informed the students about the various qualities they need to inculcate in themselves in order to become good engineers. Dr. S. D. Bhole, CEO, MGI privileged the chair of the dias. He encouraged students to make a time table and follow it. It was an inspiring session where he highlighted the responsibilities of engineering students. Dr. V.H. Tatwawadi Principal, DBACER welcomed the students and advised them with their words of wisdom. Prof. Mrs. M.G. Dhote ,FYC DBACER introduced the first year department with a brief presentation about DBACER.
Toppers were encouraged and felicitated with Laptop from the institute. The programme ended with the vote of thanks proposed by Mrs.M.G. Dhote. The entire programme was anchored by Dr.Ms.N.S. Gupta, HOD Chemistry dept.
The organizing committee and non teaching staff worked hard to make the event successful.
