About Department

Civil-Engg-Dept In the past years, Civil Engineers focused on Design and Construction of new facilities, such as buildings, bridges and highways, water treatment and environmental facilities, foundations and tunnels. Today's Civil Engineer not only has to design new facilities but must also analyze the effects of deterioration on infrastructure elements, considering environmental and economic sustainability.

Civil Engineers must be equipped with in-depth knowledge of traditional, fundamental and new technologies in order to address the complex, interdisciplinary problems faced within the society.

Department of Civil Engineering was established in 2014 and is running one UG program. Majority of faculty members are actively involved in developing the Department through active interaction with the industry, research labs, leading entrepreneurs, scientist and professors from institutes of eminence from India. Students are encouraged to participate in research oriented activities, project competition and technical paper presentations. The Department regularly organizes in-house training and value added programs. The Department is having well established laboratories with latest software’s like Arc GIS, Strad-Pro, Auto-CAD etc.

To impart excellent technical education in the field of Civil Engineering to mould the learners into competitive and responsible technocrats.

PEO 1 Preparation:To prepare students to succeed in employment/profession and/or to pursue post graduate & research education in Civil Engineering and allied Engineering disciplines.

 Core Competence & Breadth: To provide students with a solid foundation in mathematical, scientific and engineering fundamentals required to formulate, analyze & solve engineering problems related to Civil Engineering in particular and Engineering practice in general. Also to prepare the students with good scientific and engineering breadth to design system and solve problems.
PEO 3 Professionalism: To inculcate in students professional and ethical attitude, effective communication skill, teamwork and an ability to relate engineering to global perspective issues and social context.
PEO 4 Learning Environment: To provide student with an academic environment that fosters excellence, transparency, leadership and promote awareness of life-long learning.
